Thai Peanut Hummus

Thai Peanut Hummus

Thai Peanut Hummus

1 can garbanzo beans, drained (reserve liquid)

3-4 tsp natural peanut butter

¼ tsp ground ginger

Juice of 1 lime

1 tsp Spirits & Spice Matt’s Satay Peanut blend

1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup

2 Garlic cloves, chopped

2 Tbsp sesame seeds

Sea salt to taste

2-4 Tbsp Spirits & Spice Ginger Sesame Oil

1-4 Tbsp Water

1-2 Tbsp Spirits & Spice Key Lime Habeñero Balsamic (optional)

Chopped cocktail peanuts, opt for garnish

Sliced scallions, opt. for garnish

Cilantro for garnish

Sriracha sauce (optional)

Combine beans, garlic, honey, seasonings, peanut butter, and sesame seeds in food processor/blender.  Process and scrape down sides and begin adding oil.  Continue to scrape down and add more oil and then water, bean liquid, or champagne vinegar for desired consistency.
Because all blenders are different, it may be easier for your machine to do a double batch, but you may need to adjust seasonings/spices accordingly.
Garnish with drizzles of oil, sriracha (if desired), chopped peanuts, scallions, & cilantro.
Serve with veggies, pita chips, or as the base of a pork-based pizza!
