2 ounces Spirits & Spice American Rye Whiskey
½ oz. Simple syrup
3 dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
Splash of Spirits & Spice Libertine Absinthe 72%
Orange peel, for garnish
Pack a rocks glass with ice. In a second rocks glass add simple syrup and 3 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters. Add whiskey to the Peychaud’s Bitters and simple syrup. Empty the ice from the first glass and swirl the splash of absinthe around in the glass. Pour out the absinthe and strain the whiskey/bitters/simple mixture from the second glass into the first glass and garnish with orange peel.
