1 oz Orange liqueur (we recommend Cointreau, Grand Marnier or Triple Sec)
¾ oz Lemon juice
Sugar, for garnish (optional)
Start by preparing your glass. Make a slip in a lemon wedge and run the cut edge around the rim of the glass. Dip the rim into a saucer of sugar to create a thin layer and chill the glass if desired.
Combine the Cognac XO, orange liqueur and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice. Shake well until chilled (about 10 seconds). Strain into prepared glass. For a little ooo-la-la add a orange peel twist as garnish.
