Spirits and Spice Mint Julep Cocktail Recipe

Buckle up – it's time to get our drink on with this Spirits and Spice version of a  Mint Julep Cocktail Recipe! We're taking a trip to Kentucky, the land of horses, bluegrass, and of course, whiskey.

• 2 oz. Spirits and Spice American Rye Whiskey
• 1 oz. rich simple syrup (2 parts sugar to 1 part water)
• 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
• Crushed ice

 Instructions:

1. In a julep cup or rocks glass, muddle the mint leaves and simple syrup together until the mint leaves are fragrant and slightly bruised.

2. Pack the glass with crushed ice until it is about 3/4 full.

3. Pour the Whiskey over the ice, and stir well to combine.

4. Top off with additional crushed ice to fill the glass.

5. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint leaves.

6. Enjoy your delicious mint julep cocktail made with Spirits and Spice products!
