Baked Cajun Tilapia with Tartar Sauce

Baked Cajun Tilapia with Tartar Sauce

This is fast, easy, tasty and healthy.  The entire meal can be put together in under 20 minutes.

For Fish:

12 oz. tilapia

2 Tsp Spirits & Spice Ragin’ Cajun spice blend

1 tsp Spirits & Spice Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

For Tartar Sauce:

¼ cup mayonnaise (use light mayo if you are calorie conscious.)

1-1/2 tsp (or to taste) sweet pickle relish

1 tsp dried dill

1 tsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp Spirits & Spice Calamansi Balsamic Vinegar

TILAPIA

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Line a baking sheet with foil and brush lightly with ½ of the S&S Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Place tilapia filets on the foil and lightly brush with the remaining S&S Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Sprinkle the Ragin’ Cajun spice blend over the fish so it adheres to the fish.

Place the fish in the oven for 8-10 minutes.  Do not overcook.  The fish should be tender and flake easily with a fork.

TARTAR SAUCE

While the fish is baking, combine all of the ingredients for the tartar sauce in a small bowl and mix thoroughly.

Great served with spinach or wilted chard!
