Guthrie Steak Sandwich

1/3 chopped onion

½ sliced red pepper

1 lbs. of Shaved Steak or Beef

2 Tbsp Spirits & Spice Garlic & Butter Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Hot Horseradish Mustard to taste

1 Jar of Merlot Wine Steak Sauce

Hamburger buns or Hoagie roll

Sliced mozzarella or provolone


Marinate the shaved steak in the merlot wine steak sauce for 30 mins to 1 hour.  Caramelize the onion with the Garlic & Butter EVOO.  Add the sliced peppers to the onion and cook for about 2 mins.  Add the marinated steak to the onions and peppers.  Toast the bun and spread the horseradish mustard.  Place the steak, mixture on the bun top it off with sliced cheese.

Try it with a side of rice, chips or potatoes.
