Aged 5 years in ex-Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso Sherry casks, this Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie distillery has been peated with mainland peat from St. Fergus, leading to a sweet, smoky, fruit-forward spirit. On the nose, notes of cedarwood, cigar box, butterscotch, and mocha, with orange peel, honey, and plum jam. On the palate, you will get dark chocolate, smoked honey, figs, treacle, burnt sugar, and puffs of peat smoke.
