Hand Painted Porcelain Turkish Dipping Bowl

These beautiful hand-painted dipping bowls are produced in Turkey and perfect for your olive oil/balsamic vinegar.

Nimet Varli was the first woman to produce ceramics in Kutahya, Turkey professionally. She has a fair trade workshop, all-female staff, and is a leader of women’s rights in Turkey.

These brightly colored ceramic bowls are hand-turned and hand-painted with traditional designs which date back to the 1500s. Turkish craftsmen meticulously apply the colors in time-honored patterns and then apply a protective, shiny glaze.
