🎶 Oh, gather 'round foodies, it's time to stir fry,
With a recipe that'll make your taste buds fly.
We've got some ground turkey that's oh so neat,
And a sweet ginger sesame sauce that can't be beat. 🎶
Ingredients (Feeds up to 4 people)
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 Red Onion - small dice
- 4 T minced garlic
- 1/2 C Basil - chiffonade
- 4 T (tablespoon) Spirts & Spice Sesame Ginger EVOO
- 4 T pink Himalayan salt (or to taste)
- 2 T fresh ground black pepper (to taste)
- 4 T Spirits & Spice Apple Balsamic vinegar
- 3 t (teaspoon) Spirits & Spice Truffle Dust
- ½ C peas
- ½ C corn
- ½ C carrots - small dice
- 1 C red cabbage - chiffonade
- 2 T toasted sesame seeds (white / black)
- ½ C green onion - sliced
Method:
1. In 1 sauté pan, heat 2 T Sesame Ginger Oil over medium-high heat, add ground turkey. Cook to golden brown, breaking up pieces of turkey with spatula for small, evenly cooked pieces.
2. Add 2 T pink Himalayan salt, 1 T crushed ground pepper, 1 T truffle dust.
3. When meat has developed medium golden brown color, add 2 T apple balsamic, reduce heat, and caramelize balsamic. Remove from heat and reserve.
4. In second sauté pan, heat 2 T Sesame Ginger oil over medium heat, add onions, 1 T pink Himalayan salt, 1 T crushed black pepper.
5. Add in carrots and garlic, sauté to light color development, incorporate peas, carrots, red cabbage, stir.
6. Add additional 1 T pink Himalayan salt, 2 T Ginger Sesame oil. Sauté until cabbage is wilted.
7. Add cooked ground turkey mixture into vegetable mixture. Add green onion and continue to cook over medium-low heat. Stir to incorporate all ingredients.
8. Finish with an additional T of apple vinegar and sesame seeds.
