The Taste of Tradition
Our Tequila Tahona Blanco is made using the pre-Hispanic method of crushing agave piñas with a traditional milling stone called a Tahona. This method brings out more complex aromas and flavors than newer processes. The juices are fermented in cement tanks with native yeasts including agave fibers, and is distilled twice. Spirits & Spice works closely with a family-owned and run distillery that has been in business since 1904 and bottles only 500 liters at a time
The Secret to Smooth Satisfaction
This Tequila Tahona Blanco is made from 100% Blue Weber Agave and is distilled and bottled at its origin in the Valles region of Jalisco, Mexico. A traditional tequila process using stones ovens for cooking agave, stainless steel, and copper stills for distilling plus completely additive-free! This process creates a rich, velvet-like mouthfeel with sweet cooked agave and light herbal notes on the front and middle of the palate. Finishing with herbal, mint, and stone notes.
Each 1-liter bottle is Hand-Painted
